Fender American Standard Stratocaster Brief Evaluation
Playing the Fender Stratocaster is maybe the greatest expression of modern guitar chic. The Fender American Standard Stratocaster series provides an old-fashioned vintage vibe. Nevertheless, the American Regular series strats can price close to a grand. For the more budget-conscious, the Fender Stratocaster Standard is an additional option.
The Fender Stratocaster, also known as the "Strat", is a model of electric guitar designed by Leo Fender, George Fullerton, and Freddie Tavares in 1954, and developed continually by the Fender Musical Instruments Corporation until today. The Fender Regular Strat is produced in Fender’s Mexican factory and is a step up from the Squier. Getting a Fender Standard Stratocaster is an affordable method to get into the Fender brand that represents high quality instruments.
Sound:
It has a sound very similar to the American strats, but the American series strats may sustain longer, and also the lower finish strings are brighter and more crystalline, whilst the sound in the Fender Regular Strat is rounder. Plus it holds distortion and clarity truly nicely. It is perfect for crunchy, driving rock and blues feels.
The bridge pickup of this Standard Strat produces that iconic twang, the neck pickup is much more of a deep crunch, and the middle pickup and combinations provide you with everything in between. In the event you play it with an amp and a pedal, it gives an amazing Hendrix feeling.
Overal:
This Fender American Standard Stratocaster Strat deserves an 8 taking all issues into consideration. If you are are looking for a great sounding guitar, it’s certainly a 10. If you’re searching for excellent value, it’s 11! Nevertheless, whilst it sounds excellent, it does have limitations. It is great for blues, hard rock and clean jangley sounds. But it’s not great for metal and certainly not jazz. But overall it is a great guitar with good versatility. It is worth to think about, whether or not it’s your primary or secondary.
